Inert Gas Fire Suppression Systems
CJ Suppression installs inert gas systems as one of the clean agent alternatives replacing traditional Halon 1301 systems. Inert gas is a high-pressure agent stored in cylinders similar to carbon dioxide. This agent is a blend of naturally occurring inert gases, namely Nitrogen and Argon. Because the gas blend is inert, it has a broad spectrum of application, being both safe for human exposure and very effective on many types of fires, including industrial-based and flammable liquids.
Inert gas systems are designed with a central bank of cylinders manifolded together, with the agent distributed through a pressure reducing piping network utilizing engineered nozzles.
Carbon Dioxide Fire Suppression Systems
Carbon dioxide systems, have been an industry standard for many decades and are still the preferred agent in many industrial applications. There are several common local applications systems which are utilized to extinguish fires in dip tanks, quench tanks and industrial operations where spilled fuel is a possibility. Local application systems are also popular in the marine market, especially in engine compartments and the cooking industry (fryers and ovens). Low pressure total flood systems are prevalent in steel manufacturing, press operations and other areas requiring large quantities of extinguishing agent.

This is the newest and most environmentally friendly synthetic agent available today, with a zero ozone depletion factor and a global warming potential of just one. It is an excellent fire suppression agent for protection of sensitive equipment, valuable articles, critical processes. Piping systems are generally quite simple in design, less intrusive for retrofit installations.
FM-200 Fire Suppression Systems
FM200 fire suppression systems have low atmoshperic lifetimes, global warming, and ozone depletion potentials. Unlike Halon 1301 fire suppression systems, FM200 systems are environmentally friendly. They provide an effective, safe method of special hazards fire suppression where a non-residue producing clean agent is essential.
